I'm a bit late with this posting. I though I'd don't it before but I must be going mad.
On a sunny weekend some weeks back (difficult to believe considering the current weather) we spent the day here. I'm sure most of you have been to this park as I have heard it mentioned in passing. £5 per car is great value for the amount of activites that there are. There is the assault course which is VERY challenging for 3 year olds and there is the farm. The activities are great for honing their balancing and co-ordination skills. The boy managed to name all the aminals in the farm and also introduced a 'camel' into an empty pen. Other kids who heard came over to see the 'camel'. They couldn't understand how we could see camels and they couldn't! The power of imagination!!! Also the ducks wandering around the park are great for chasing and feeding (our boys though so anyway). We took a picnic and enjoyed the day. Knackered by the end of it and so were the boys. I've never seen them so keen to go to bed! They were exhausted.
With older kids you can take them through the woods on their bikes. As it's sheltered it very pleasent and you're riding around the lake so it's quite cool. You could walk it but it's a long was for little legs. We'll have to wait for next year to do this.
£5 well spent? Definately.

Don't forget the "100 aker wood" is there as well for all you Pooh fans! (Never thought I'd be writing a sentence like that at 41.........).
Always feel a little sorry for our 5 year old when we get there and Pooh, Eeyore, Owl, Rabbit and Christopher Robin are all out exploring and not at home AGAIN.... Do those guys just never have a day in??

They DO!! We once saw Pooh asleep in in his house!!!
Honest!
He was very like the cuddly Pooh at home, it has to be said, but nevertheless...
